Welcome to Donovan Elle! I'm Laurel, the owner, and I'm so happy you found us!

I've always had a passion for fashion. Cliche, I know, but it's true! After college, I gave up a Fashion Merchandising career for what I felt would be a more "realistic" and "stable" career in the Medical Device industry that I've enjoyed a successful ten years. Luckily all that boring stability also provided the financial independence to finally realize my own boutique dream!

I am a mother of three and reside in rural Pennsylvania. After my third baby, I realized how tired I was of moms feeling like they couldn't still dress on-trend and cute. There is more to life than sweater duster and leggings! I wanted to open a boutique that carried beautiful and elegant clothing that still made women feel relevant but also help them understand how to style it for their own figure, budget, and lifestyle. I am a real one-woman operation (for now!) and hope to open the doors to a brick-and-mortar store someday soon.

Donovan Elle is the culmination of many years of dreaming and the support of a wonderful life partner who finally made me feel secure enough to take the leap and try. Donovan is the middle name of my first and late husband, who was equally fascinated by luxury clothing. Elle is my daughter's middle name; she is my favorite client! Styling her is my favorite thing in the world.
